My Comment on Reading the Book...

I can read... Plus, I study the vocabulary words after reading. I always love to read the book, magazine, newspaper, Holy Bible and greeting letter. I also can write about what happen in the stories. It’s called “Book Reports”. Some stories are tricking on me as the language is hard for me. I can think and examine the stories, and if I don’t know what the word means, then I can look it up in the dictionary. So, in the home school year, I can read the whole chapter of the book every day. And make the daily Book Report. But, my former governor, George Pataki encourages the kids to learn how to read a reading level and how to write a writing level from preschool to Senior to prepare for the higher education.

My first reason is to read the whole chapter of book a day. That is what I want for building up the vocabulary words. If I read the book and don’t know a word, I can simply using a dictionary by myself as a responsible person instead of asking someone what word mean. I am an adult and mature without assistance. However, if a person want to read a book with me as my helper, I accept.

My second reason is to study all the vocabulary words and get ready for reading test. So I’m studying the vocabulary words every day. And that is a good idea. For example, read a book and if you don’t know what word means, just simply put some words you don’t know on the list of sheet paper. And when you are done with practicing your writing skills on defining the words.

In the conclusion, the total of my two reasons are Reading Level Grade. If I happen again failing the reading, then I keep reading and reading and reading until I get some words.

"A Little Mistress at SMSD"- February 11, 2014

Hello, everyone! 

Are you ready for going back to school? If so, you are exciting to read what I wrote a fictitious story about a little mistress teaches the deaf students at SMSD. Enjoy!

 After a calm English teacher resigned school for her pregnancy reason, she substituted to a little mistress. A little mistress is now a new English teacher at SMSD. She’s so cute. She is working hard to teach her students in English class.

            A little mistress lives in a Sicilian side of Buffalo. She is teaching her students how to write the Standard English. Her father and her aunt were learning English when they were little after they got to Buffalo from Sicily. They still speak Italian and so that a little mistress’ dream came true of teaching English at school. She is practice teaching her father and her aunt English at home and that make her an expert English teacher.

            Her aunt was finding out that a little mistress choose SMSD to teach English over Sts Columba-brigid Montessori. She was not happy with her chosen. Why was she not happy? Because of SMSD is not a place for a little mistress to teach her deaf students English. She thought that English is for hearing only; the hearing can speak and write. Deaf is hand sign which not speak and write standard language. What a discrimination her aunt was! A little mistress sat down with her aunt and explained about the special needs. Deaf can do anything! Deaf can sometimes speak and can write English. Aunt understood that situation and felt apologize to the deaf students.

            Now a little mistress is returning to work at SMSD after she fought a battle her aunt. She enjoys her teaching English job at SMSD. 

Chapter Six: Which Career Do You Decide to Choose?

Today is the last chapter, the chapter six that I wrote about what career you want to choose. Here is your choice, not people have chosen for you.

What are you doing in your life? Are you in high school? Or, are you working? If you are in high school right now, sooner or later you will decide to choose which career you want. No one have right to choose which career they want for you. However, your parents, you have no choice but to obey them as long as you are living in their home. Hmm, if your parents can apply the scripture Isaiah 8:17, 20 and, U.S. Constitutional First and Twenty-Sixth Amendments, then yes, they allow you to be in freedom. So yes, you can decide to choose which career you want. Rather you want to to be a doctor, a businessman, an artist, a musician, a teacher, a scientist, or firefighter.Then choose which career you want for only yourself, do not let people choose which career they want for you.

I want to tell you a little about my career background information: I have a dreaming career. I wanted to be an artist. Unfortunately, I have directed to Culinary Training Institute, Inc. because of my old school told me that Art is difficult for me to find or accept me as an artist. So they offered me to choose Culinary Training Institute, Inc. for a better paid job. I accepted it and decided to go to that trade school. Thus, this must be concerning with you. Your loved ones want what best for you. Choosing a career you want and your family don't accept is a freedom problem. And that frustrates you. However, try to know that your family love you so much and will miss you when you are gone to college or university. But, your family can Skype you as they don't have to miss you so...you are on a new life. What is the problem with a new life? You are an adult. And so you are no more being a child. Reflecting to treat you as a child is not so cool and can stop the generation which is an unlikable way. 

If you choose to become a doctor, you love people and want to take care of their sickness. That is a good example of what Jesus did to the people. He healed their sickness during the Sabbath day. -John 9:1-34

Or, any career is up to you. Smile. Respect your choice is important to relief your pressure from people who disagree with your choice. 

Okay, the end of chapter, but the more you learn, the more you will get knowledge. Like old people are never stop learning the new thing. I like that, because learning is an interest. I like to continue to learn something new and want to get the new experience. You too can interest in learning the new thing. And that is the praiseworthy.

Chapter Three: Why Won't Kids Leave You Alone?

Today is the chapter three that I wrote about the reason why kids won't leave you alone. Here is the explanation of reason for you to understand.

On the priority of first day of your school, did you feel afraid of going back to school because of bullying triggered you? There are some bullying ones happen at school. Even since a group of young boys, for instance, once insulted Elisha. They did show disrespect to his office and cried out: "Go up, you baldhead! Go up, you baldhead!"

One of the authors who wrote Growing Pains in the Classroom recalls when that author was in 9th grade said, "Being the smartest kid and the shortest kid in the room was a disaster combination..." In addition to call 'a walking dictionary'... The author of The Loneliness of Children adds: 'Children with disabilities are ready to target for teasing by other children.'

Many youths are defenseless in the face of peer cruelty. One youth recalls the reason of teasing and annoyance that each classmate does, he was so scared and unhappy... He couldn't concentrate on his studies.

God does not view the butt of bullying as a laughing matter. Consider my experience of a childish middle-aged woman who she did not leave me alone. She did show me her rough personality. She was always insults me and assails me. And she took my future as making an envy not in herself, but makes me feel envy. Until I moved out to the new area as to not see her again unless if I can afford to visit. Actually, I'm not envy. She is envy toward the love of young women. I know that it is not necessary for me to malice her because of I let God takes care of her.

Why does it bullying you? It is because of the bullying ones don't view as a Christian as you are living in Godly standards. You may wonder how they leave you alone. At first, try understand why they tease you. Laughter is happened to a group of youths harass someone. Often the bullying ones believe that putting someone down make them feel better.

The bullying ones also jealous at you when you are exceptionally bright or favored by your teacher. They are insecure, trust me. Jealous is unloved as the insecurity. Likewise without love is death as hate lead to death. 

Are you going to be happy when there are no bullying ones in your school? Rarely, try to return evil for evil to no bullying ones and keep conquering their evil action with only the good example. Additionally, do not let any bullying one break your spirit. Granted, it hurts if someone pokes fun at your looks. It is not necessary for you to malice them unless your looks improving the inner beauty and better. But, if someone still laugh at you, see their humor in it. Laugh at them and prove them wrong. Remember the bullying ones want to entertain your reaction and your misery. So the best way is to defense yourself and ignore them. 

King Solomon further telling you to not pay attention to everything people say about you. If you believe in God and have a friendship with Him, you are so strong that you have confidently to withstand the unjust verbal attacks and physical attacks. The next chapter I will explain how you get along with your teacher by tomorrow or Monday. Have a good long weekend. 

Chapter Two: How Can You Improve Your Grades?

Today is the chapter two that I wrote about how you can improve your grades. So, here is the good advise for you to know what you do with your studying habit.

How many students concerning about grades and tests? Many, right? Okay, have you wondering the school grades are a major source of anxiety among the students? You know them grades and tests have their place. Because of this is what a teacher do to her students. She frequently tests their understanding. One book Measurement and Evaluation in the Schools explains that the test results can reveal the areas of students' strength and weakness.

Too much concern about your grades can create your problem. On what is your problem? Paralyzing stresses. You know when you fail your test, you cannot blame your teacher.You, yourself are taking responsibility for learning! As my previous blog of chapter one, "the teachers are impossible to teach the chronically absented students. And they are too impossible to know better than the teachers because the teachers have teaching experience."

If you say, "I do study." then where is your result? Your result is going to reveal your weakness. So better say nothing than your action of studying.

Where can you study without your family meddle you? Try a public library. The library is a good place for silent readers where they read a book or magazine without using their voice for talking. Or, whatever any other quiet place is up to you.

Your study routine is helpful when it comes to your method of studying. Try organize what you are going to study. If you fail, don't worry about it. You can try again later. Discern your teacher's comments what kind of test it will be, such an essay test or multiple choice. Also, before taking the test, listen for the clues as to what will appear in the test. It is important to remember what you study for the test. Try sleep early, wake up for breakfast, and be prepared for the test. Then, you will be fine. Have a bright day, smiles. Tomorrow next chapter will be explaining a reason of kids won't leave you alone.

Chapter One: Should You Give Up Your School Life?

As a previous blog, I wrote that note last year September 3, 2013. It's about how excitement the kids go back to school and how excitement I keep educating myself. Now here is the new article. It will tell you how school is value to everyone's life.

Imagine my life without going to school for twenty years, what would I do today? I would learn NONE! It is no excuse for not going to school. Why not pardon?  Because of communication with people is key, know what to do, and have assertion to success. If I did not go to school, what would happen to me today? I would act much knowing nothing and become dumber and dumber. And the worst part is, I'm a Stupid woman in the whole world! That is no fun, no funny, and no pardon for not going to school. Would you want to be like me if I never go to school for about twenty years? What's your answer? Think of that. It is okay to outright yourself and share your feeling about school rather you like or not like. If you like school, cool! But if you do not like school, then your have to go through with an endurance. If you dropout the high school at age 16 or before graduation day, what would happen to you? You will have no job, right? If you did dropout your high school and you frustrate that you cannot find a job, will you go and get GED classes? 

For what is the reason of giving up your school life? You can't pass the tests? You can't make the good grades? You can't achieve the awards? Bullying? The kids make fun of you? School shooting? Teachers are hard to get along with you? And, other reasons? These reasons I will explain the next following chapters, okay? Now we focus on chapter one. Does it surprise you of the numbers of youths choose not to go to school at all? No surprise at the teachers are impossible to teach the chronically absented students. And they are too impossible to know better than the teachers because the teachers have teaching experience. 

The Education is Value

Do you realize that you need an education? If so, then why? You reasoned the ability to lecture the people of what you had learned at school. Your education is value to prepare you for a successful adult life. Take the good example of wise King Solomon said about school: "knowledge and thinking ability". The school can help you nurture and grow your ability to think. And it can also help you to analyze and create the productive ideas. The school does make you use your mind. The truth is, school supplies you to study language arts, math, social studies, science, biology, geography, home economic and such more. You think that these are not relevant to your life. But read a good guide book that Barbara Mayer wrote. The name of it is "The High School Survival Guide". It will tell you how school is important to your life. Also read the other book called "The Enduring Effects of Education", too.

School and Employment

Learning in school can lead you to your future employment. If you do not go to school at all, watch at what will happen to your life. You understand that quitting school is poor. And you understand that you learn that hard way. A lot of times you've applied for jobs and you couldn't get hired because of you do not have a high school diploma or college degree. It is obviously the students who really learn the basic skills such as reading level will have the better job opportunities. 

You are better

Know your strengths and weaknesses benefit you. In school you learned how to work under pressure, how to take a test and how to express yourself. Your school proves more powerful have trained you the right way as disciplined you and get trained your mind creativity.

For that reason, it makes good sense for you to take full advantage of your school years. How can you do that? Let's study at school. And the next chapter will explain how you can improve your grades by maybe tomorrow.

I want to share a story about how exciting the kids are going back to school again and how exciting I keep educated myself!

Wow, I can’t believe today is September! How excitement! Soon the children will all going back to school. But some of them are already back to school in early August. I miss the school and the schoolmate but am good to have no homework for me. Because homework gives me stress. However, homework is a good thing that gives a teacher an easy job. Anyway, school is a good place for people to learn. Without school, how will they know? It is important to keep the education in people’s life. So I finish graduated from high school. But, is that all I am done with school? There is more I can do is to keep learning something new. I still take the classes by myself teaching. It is all called me a self-schooled lady. What classes am I taking? I’m taking French, Bible Study, History, Global Studies, Life Study, Biography, and after classes, the activities are art, photography, nature, heart intensity, photo/video/writing editing, and ASL performances. These are never letting me stop doing.
