I Made and Baked the Flourless Peanut Butter Cookies

Yesterday I made and baked the flourless peanut butter cookies. It's really simple, unlikely heavy as the last I made and baked. You don't have to have an additional time on the flour, cool. I have found this simple baking recipe from the Tasty video on Facebook. It's yummy! Here is what you need to do. Setting up the ingredients. There are only three items in the ingredients. Simple, simple!

1 cup peanut butter
*1 cup sugar
1 egg

*The video show white sugar, however, my sister-in-law said that brown sugar is the same as the white sugar. So I decided to plan b is brown sugar. Because of the white sugar is not in the kitchen as we don't have one. You can either choose which sugar you for your cookies: white or brown.

I stirred until the flourless peanut butter dough become dry. I dropped by heaping teaspoonfuls onto the ungreased cookie sheet. And I slightly flattened in crisscross pattern with tines of fork.

I was about to bake the flourless peanut butter cookies at 350 degrees' oven for 10 minutes. And I looked forward to tasting some of the yummy cookies! Yours, Loiriam

The Basic Making and Baking of Strawberry Shortcake

I have been so busy with a lot of thoughts on my mind...this year would have me felt peace, but with
criticism, isn't it fair? Well, as I've told that life is goes on and I have to accept the mistakes that I had made. As my favorite diarist, Anne Frank said, "Don't think of me as a fourteen-year-old, since all these troubles have made me older; I won't regret my actions, I'll behave the way I think I should." Yeah, I learn a lesson of not to deal with the past. Because the past is over, it cannot bring back. The present is now as I keep going now. This is part of history, and part of life's a lesson.

Okay, this weekend was a Strawberry Festival. Last year, I did finally make it with my family. It was
better, and I enjoyed spending Strawberry Festival with my family. I miss it. :( I couldn't go because I don't live near Strawberry Festival anymore. But that festival is in my new area with different date. That different date is going to be after my birthday. I look forward to go there with my siblings and in-law as I hope so. Okay, um...oh, yesterday, and again today I made strawberry shortcake. It tastes divinely yummy! Here is a picture of it.

Here is a recipe of strawberry shortcakes that I adapted little bit from Bisquick box.
Because of 4 cups of sliced fresh strawberries are too much for 6 spoonfuls of dough.

2 cups sliced fresh strawberries
½ cup sugar
2 ½ cups Original Bisquick mix
½ cup milk
3 Tbsp. sugar
3 Tbsp. butter, melted

Add to frozen whip cream after making and mixing strawberries in ½ cup sugar and baking biscuit at the oven. I set the heat oven to 425-degree F.

Stir Bisquick mix, milk, 3 Tbsp. sugar and the butter until soft dough forms. Drop by 6 spoonfuls onto ungreased cookie sheet.

Bake 10-12 minutes or until golden brown. Split warm shortcakes; fill and top with strawberries and whip cream.

After I made and baked only 6 strawberry shortcakes, these are now serving-:) Well, if I live with like 10 people in a nice big house, I can make 20 strawberry shortcakes!-: D, he he. Oh, how heavenly I love biting the strawberry shortcakes! <3

If you have drooling with, and desiring to bite the strawberry shortcakes, help yourself.-;) Loiriam xx

4/20/15's The Making n The Baking of Puerto Rican Cucas Cookies

Belated last week Monday I made the Puerto Rican Cucas Cookies. I was setting up the ingredients at first and then prepare to make that cookie. Here are some pictures of Puerto Rican Cucas cookies.

I creamed together butter and brown sugar. And then I added egg and vanilla and I beaten it well.
I attempted to mix together dry ingredients and add to combine well. But it seems to cream though.
So I added to flour as much as it become dry.
I dropped by teaspoonful onto shortened grease on cookie sheet.
After I baked the Puerto Rican Cucas Cookies, they are now serving.

Making and baking the Puerto Rican Cucas Cookies are not an easy task. If any of you have never heard or have not yet taste the Puerto Rican Cucas Cookies before, and if you want to try it, here is a recipe below:

1 cup softened butter
1 cup packed brown sugar
1 egg
1 teaspoon vanilla
2 cups flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/8 teaspoon salt

Cream together butter and brown sugar. Add egg and vanilla and beat well. Mix together dry ingredients and add, combining well. Drop by teaspoonful onto greased cookie sheet. Bake in 350 degree F oven for 6 to 8 minutes. Then bake for 10 minutes on insulated cookie sheets to make them really crispy. The cookies will puff up, and then really flatten into thin hard disks. Makes 4 dozen.

I hope you like Puerto Rican Cucas Cookies. Have a nice Monday. :) Yours, Loiriam

The Other Goal for 2015 is the Baking

Yesterday was not bad. I finally could eat grit for breakfast and not have to worry about leaving early for the meeting. Today is a nice day. It's sunny and happy. I'm doing my laundry. And I'm cleaning some kitchen and bathroom. Also, I read 1 Samuel chapters 2-5. These chapters are about the boy who raise up serving God. His name is Samuel. And Eli failed to control his evil sons, and the war between the Philistines and the Israelites.

Here is the other goal for 2015 that I have intending to do is baking. I'm going to do the baking in the mid of every month. What I want to do for the month is to make the list of cookies, pies, cakes, and other sweet goods. This is my passion of baking. I have baking experience at my old school. And if any of you need me to do the baking for any occasion, any fundraising, etc. I'll be happy to volunteer or work with you. :) Here is a picture of six cookies of the late 2013 and 2014. Enjoy! Yours, Loiriam

The Thought of Making the Fresh Apple Pie Is All That It

Yesterday was extreme busy! I made big dinner for my father and me. And I was making the fresh apple pie. At first, before I was making them, I went to Walmart with my father for shopping food and one thing I need. When we were done with shopping, we went ahead to home. What were things I made for dinner? And after I made dinner and ate it, I took a break after eating dinner first, and then to clumsily prepare apple pie for today Saturday.

When I read the recipe of fresh apple pie, I did my best to figure out how to make it correctly. However, imperfectly is, I took the four apples. The type of apple is an excellent source. I thought four apples are correcting for six cups of sliced apples, but really is have to be five apples. I learn a lesson is to next time grabbing five apples. After I grabbed the apples, I peeled them and cut them into the slices. I prepared the sugar, flour, cinnamon and nutmeg for the sliced apples. I mixed these ingredients, and then I stirred them in apples. After I was doing these things, I thought that it. But what I did miss is to make the dough crust that is not include in fresh apple pie recipe. So here is the recipe of what missing:

3/4 cup sugar
1/4 cup flour
1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg
1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
2 tablespoons of butter
6 cups of sliced apples (approximately 8-10 medium sized apples)

Heat oven to 425 degrees.

Prepare pastry.

Mix sugar, flour, cinnamon and nutmeg.

Stir in apples.

Turn mixture into pastry-lined pie plate. Dot with butter.

Cover with top crust that has slits cut into it. Seal and flute.

Cover edge with 3 inch strip of aluminum foil: remove during the last 15 minutes of baking.

Bake until crust is brown and juice begins to bubble through slits in crust. (45 to 50 minutes)

Do you see that in above? It doesn't include the making of  dough crust. So I searched for the recipe of it outside fresh apple pie. The name of it is Apple Pie that include the dough. I decided to make it dough  differently the way as to offer an idea and I liked it. I put the 2 1/2 cups flour, 1/4 teaspoon Kosher salt, 2 butter sticks and 2 iced cube with cold liquid of 1 cup water to roll up with the flour as to prevent from sticky, I don't include the sugar and egg. Then I cut into the half of dough, and one that I rolled and spread it to the pie silver plastic plate. I put the mixture ingredients of fresh sliced apples in it. Again two I did and cover with top crust that I slits cut into it. I sealed and fluted it. And then whew! I baked the fresh apple pie for fifty minutes. After fifty minutes, I foiled the fresh apple pie and put it in the refrigerator for today Saturday's Brotherhood lunch meeting/after meeting. The group of mine enjoyed my fresh apple pie. I thanked them for congratulating me doing a good job. I was finally back to make the apple pie since I left school. I will make it next time. :) -Loiriam

Note: I did not take a picture of post-baking fresh apple pie (dough crust) because of it does not include the recipe of fresh apple pie. This is why. But not to concern with it. I will make fresh apple pie for the next time with dough crust recipe. And then after making it for the next time, I will take a picture of it on the following blogs.

I have been not on blog for a while. This month, the Wildlife Aid Foundation (WAF) became my favorite after I have seen a beautiful old British man's name is Simon Cowell the founder of WAF with trying to rescue a baby swan while he was beaten up by an angry swan dad video on Facebook. Simon suffered with some bruises that were hit by the strong wings of swan dad. This video is top and it viewed by over one million YouTube users. Simon loves animals so much and it inspires me. I continue to watch WAF videos and will never stop watching. :) I would like to donate his help for animals but WAF is in England. I always donate in here America, that it. But if I have enough money on my PayPal, then I can donate Simon's help for animals. Right now my money in it is not enough because of there are not a lot of people view my works. Oh, well.

Tonight I made the colorful M&M cookies. Before I made these, I was setting up the ingredients to get ready for making the colorful M&M cookies. And I set the oven at 350, I rolled the doughs, dropped them on the light greased cookie sheet and then I baked them. It baked for twelve minutes. And now the colorful M&M cookies are serving. I have some pictures of the colorful M&M cookies of M&M candies package.

I prepared to make the colorful M&M cookies at
night.
I mixed the brown sugar, butter, vanilla and until
I blended them well.
I stirred in remaining flour, baking
soda and salt in these mixing
ingredients until the dough become
fluffy.
Added to the colorful M&M candies. :)
I rolled the doughs and dropped them onto lightly
greased cookie sheet. I was about to bake the
colorful M&M cookies. :)
