My Job Application for Hospitality

Red long convertible sleeve, roll tabs, buttoned cuffs-Express/Black pant-Rue21/Black/White Diamond shoes-From Panama

Yesterday I went to Career Fair and I applied some jobs. On what position do I applied for? I applied for deli, bakery, and cleaning. I also want to apply for meal preparation and feed people and care, for example, elderly people. Why do I apply it for? Because of I’m wanting to match the beautiful example of Jesus. Jesus had fed more than five thousand people and miracle the sick people because he care. Thus, his beautiful qualities are love, compassion and empathy. These are important for people to need to apply for their daily life. In addition to peace, which beautiful. And if you love people, you do what they need. Like you invite them to come to your house and feed them. But you don’t want to invite the casual people who have no concern about you. You want the peaceful people in the house you live in. That is rather wisely practice for a housekeeper or cared worker who is hired, than acting like not a housekeeper or cared worker to be fired.

If you have a driver’s license and the person need help with driving education, teach her. Don’t tell her that a car is expensive while you are still driving anyway. As if you work as driving educator, it’s your job to teach the learners’ permit how to drive, not you tell them to ask their parents or whoever teach them how to drive when they don’t want to teach. I had a bad experience at driving school in North Tonawanda. My driving educator who is a woman always complain about my driving skills that did not follow her steps. So she decided to refer me to my parents teaching me. Anyway, if you don’t do your job by teaching learners’ permit how to drive, you may be getting fired from your driving school job. And if in for your personal, you may be regretted about your future car if it is collapsed and you need help with learning how to take a bus, someone who take a bus will not teach you. So, in my belief, it is fair.

If someone is not feeling well, you take care of someone which is your job as if you are working as a housekeeper or cared worker.

You have a good effort to work on showing love to people.

Now, after you have done what you have done for the need of people. They are taking turn to do what you need. If they do what you need, the love will remain grow and fond to each other. And that is very important. If there is no hospitality, then people are hateful and neglected. We want peace, not war. We want love, not hate. God loves people mean you love people. So do that and imitate His personality. Same as job you work, by keeping a job, you develop a great work.

I am looking forward to hear from job interview. But, if I don’t hear from it, then I keep motivating until I get a job. :) Yours, Loiriam

On the Book of Ruth

Finally, I am back to read the book of Ruth again! I read chapters one and two, will be three and finalized four soon. On Chapter one lesson is Ruth was firmly go with Naomi. She said to Naomi:

"Intreat me not to leave thee, or to return from following after thee: for whither thou goest, I will go; and where thou lodgest, I will lodge: thy people shall be my people, and thy God my God: where thou diest, will I die, and there will I be buried: the LORD do so to me, and more also, if ought but death part thee and me."

I like Naomi said to her two daughters-in-laws, Orpah and Ruth:

"The LORD deal kindly with you, as ye have dealt with the dead, and with me.
The LORD grant you that ye may find rest, each of you in the house of her husband."

And chapter two is about Ruth went to work and gather the ears of corn in the field of Boaz, a very wealthy man. Boaz was a relative of Naomi's husband, Elimelech. Boaz commanded the young men, the reapers not to disgrace Ruth while she worked. And Ruth was told to work with Boaz's handmaidens. And I like the question of Boaz that he asked his servant about Ruth the young woman at the beginning of her coming to work and gather:

"Who is this young woman?" <3

Ruth found grace in Boaz that he took the knowledge of her. He spoke to her in the friendly way. Boaz explained to Ruth that 'she had done to her mother-in-law since the death of her husband and how she had left her parents and her country, Moab (in Jordan), and she came to the people she did not know. And God paid her work, and a full reward that He gave to her.' And Boaz told Ruth at the mealtime to come to the place where she went and eat the bread, and dip her morsel in the vinegar. She sat down with the reapers and Boaz reached her parched corn, and she ate it, got full, and then saved what left. Naomi said to Ruth that Boaz was the one who took the knowledge of Ruth, which JEHOVAH blessed him. <3

I want to be like Ruth who went to work and found a man interesting in taking the knowledge of her. <3 I have been single for ten years and I want a grace in working again. Recently, I started to go back to prayer again regularly (at any time). I continue to pray as 1 Thessalonians 5:17. And I continue to share my faith with people. This will be blessed and hope that God will give me a husband. <3 , Loi

Chapter Five: How to Find a Job and Keep It?

Today is the chapter five that I wrote about how you can find a job and keep it. Here are some good tips below:

While you are in school, perhaps you are interested in after school job rather than participating the academic sports as an athletic team to help out with personal or household expenses. Unfortunately, in during the bad economics though, limited and demanded for unskilled workers have made jobs hard to find by the job seekers. But, how can you find a job and keep it? Read the next black subheading below:

How can you never give up your search for a job?

Do not go out on 2 or 3 interviews, then go home and sit and wait. You will never get called for a job that way.

Looking for a job is a job to do. You would spend 8 hours a day each weekday for 7 months looking for a job. You would start early each morning and 'work' till 4:00pm. Many nights your feet would be sore. The next morning you would have to 'psych yourself up' to start looking again.

Where can you find a job?

If you live in a rural area, you can start to search in local farms and orchards, or you can look for some type of yard work.

If you live in a large town or city, try looking in the newspaper help-wanted ads. Or, today is the technology. Many job seekers use online for searching for a job like Monster and CareerBuilder.

How to Keep Your Job?

A worker who is always doing a good job and that show his boss is appreciated. Will you do the same way?

You have your own skills that always serve to your king. You never will want to work for people who are not a worker. These lazy people must get up and go to work for themselves.

What are some skills and qualities that the employers appreciate in their workers?

1) A worker who is willing to listen more than to speak.

2) A worker who let people finish talk to him before he try to answer them.

3) The jobs must have good communication skills.

4) A worker who mind his own business. He does not involve the gossip about his workmates.

5) A worker avoids a bad reputation.

6) A worker does not steal the money and things from his employer. Also, he does not take advantage of his employer for leaving the work early.

Ephesians explains about the stealer must stops stealing and starts to work.

Matthew warn about the future will be happened to the issue of politic that causes the bad economic. Such like the wars and food shortage. This possible will lose your job.

However, if you have faith, you will not be worried about 'where will I live? What will I eat? And what will I wear?'

The next chapter I will explain about what career you decide to choose. I will post it on Thursday.

About Job Opening

I wrote an inquiry letter about job opening at school for cafeteria worker. Before I wrote a letter, I researched the website of those school job opportunities and find nothing about cafeteria. It never appears in the website. So what I do is to write a letter and ask for cafeteria job opening.

I am a job hunter and need a job. As a kitchen helper by myself, I have cooking and cleaning experiences, and I am ready to work for the next job. Let see if a school director answer me or not. Yours, Loiriam
